Clean Harbors Environmental Services operates two RCRA subtitle C landfills that are also permitted to accept NORM and TENORM wastes. The CHES Deer Trail landfill in CO can accept NORM and TENORM waste containing radionuclides up to 2,000 pCi/g, and its Buttonwillow landfill can accept NORM and TENORM radonuclides up to 1,800 pCi’g.
